Overview:

We are looking for a litigator with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience to join our busy and growing civil litigation team. We have a wide range of interesting work, and we are more interested in transferable skills and an appetite to learn than expertise in any particular specialised area. You must have experience of dealing with multi-track litigation, including handling disclosure, budgeting, witness evidence, and hearing preparation. Advocacy and tribunal experience a bonus.

Duties:

– Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation

– Draft pleadings and other legal documents

– Maintain case files and ensure all documents are organised and up-to-date

– Attend client meetings and provide updates on case progress

– Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

– 3 Years PQE

– Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills

– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

– Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail

– Proficiency in legal research tools and software

 Skills:

– Analytical skills: Ability to analyse complex legal issues and develop effective strategies.

– Customer service: Ability to provide excellent customer service to clients.

– Administrative: Proficient in handling administrative tasks such as organising documents and managing calendars.

– Organisational: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.

This is a full-time position based in our office. Hybrid working will be considered after probation period of 3-months.

Salary:

£30,000 -£35,000 depending on experience.
